Importing Contacts in Sensorpro is a simple 3 step process.

Some things to be aware of about the Import Process:

Before you start, make sure you have a CSV file with your contact list. 

Make sure that all columns have headings.

Browse for the CSV file on your PC/Laptop/Mac.

When you're ready, click&nbsp;Finish&nbsp;and the import will begin.

If I import contacts that have previously opted out or bounced, will they be opted in again?

No. Optouts and bounces are preserved.&nbsp;

Do I need to clean up my file to remove opted out/bounced contacts?

No. If a contact has previously opted out or bounced, then that status will be preserved.

No. They must be saved as CSV files first. In Excel, click "File" / "Save As" and choose "CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv)"

If I have duplicate email addresses in my import file, will duplicate contacts be imported?

No. Sensorpro 'de-duplicates' your file automatically (duplicates are removed automatically during the import process)

I have exported a list from Shopify. When I try to import it manually into Sensorpro, it does not run (I get an error).&nbsp;

This is a rare issue. Exports from Shopify can have 30+ columns of data, and some of these fields can contain data that may cause difficulty during the import process. To fix, open the file in Excel and delete all columns that are not required. Make sure you keep the email address column. Re-save the CSV file, and attempt the import process again.
